We focus on a small number of prestigious scholarships designed to help junior and senior undergraduates attend elite graduate schools. These scholarships, listed below, are some of the most prominent in the world, and students who receive them are typically in the top 1% to 2% of undergraduate students in the nation. Ideally, we begin working with students in their first or second years at the university to prepare them to apply for these scholarships. Click on a scholarship to find out more.

Important Note

Each of the scholarships we support has strict BYU as well as national deadlines. Those deadlines may be found on the Prestigious Scholarships Deadlines page. Please note that BYU’s deadlines are significantly earlier than the national deadlines. These earlier deadlines allow for the review of applications prior to national deadlines. Be sure to check the calendar for specific scholarship deadlines.

What We Don't Do

We do not, as a rule, work with scholarships intended for an undergraduate degree. The Enrollment Services Office (D155 ASB) is the best campus source for information on general undergraduate scholarships. That office may be reached at 801-422-4104 or ymessage.byu.edu. Another campus resource for undergraduate scholarships is byu.scholarshipuniverse.com. Information on major-specific scholarships may be found by contacting your individual college advisement center.
 

Dress and Honor Code

Applicants for the scholarships we support are expected to meet BYU’s Dress and Honor Code requirements.
